John Berry

John is a staff photographer with The Post-Standard. Berry joined the newspaper in 1979 and has also served as the photo assignment editor. His picture stories have won both print and multimedia awards. Berry is one of several members of the staff to have started to produce video work. He earned his graduate and undergraduate degrees in photojournalism from the Newhouse program at Syracuse University. He and his wife have lived in the Syracuse area since 1975. This is his second year volunteering at the workshop.
