Andrew Burton

Andrew Burton is a photojournalist and multimedia producer with a passion for in-depth, long-term journalism. Burton has worked and lived internationally, covering topics ranging from immigration in the United States to the 2008 Olympics. Burton has interned at Bloomberg News' photo desk and been an assistant to Vincent Laforet. Burton has also been a Carnegie-Knight Fellow and an intern at the Syracuse Post Standard. His work has been recognized by COPY (2008, 1st Place Sports Portfolio, 1st Place Sports Single) the Hearst Foundation (2008, 4th Place, Multimedia) and the Oregon Newspaper Publisher's Association (Numerous). Currently, Burton is a senior at Syracuse University.
