Darren Benda

Darren Benda was born in Atlanta, Georgia, and has lived there his entire life. Benda is currently a senior at Syracuse University, studying newspaper journalism major in the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and a marketing management major in the Martin J. Whitman School of Management. Aside from being a copy editor, Benda currently interns at the Syracuse Post-Standard and disc jockeys at a Syracuse radio station (Z89.1FM). Benda has written for The Daily Orange, The DeWitt Times and The Creative Loafing (Atlanta). Benda spent the spring 2009 semester abroad in Madrid, Spain, and loved every second of his travels. Darren enjoys playing basketball, tennis, having fun and living life to the fullest.
