James R. Evans has been a Mass Communication Specialist in the United States Navy for four years. Evans spent most of his first enlistment aboard the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) honing his photo and writing skills. Evans is currently a military photojournalism student at The Newhouse School.
