Edna Anderson turns 100 on Sept., 27, 2009. Anderson a lifelong resident of Mottville, N.Y., has lived a family-oriented life anchored by her two daughters, Janet Crane and Joan Quigley for the past 80 years. In honor of her 50 years of service for the Ladies Auxiliary Club in Mottville, the fire department hosted her birthday party. The celebration epitomizes the love, affection and admiration shown by Anderson’s loved ones and their gratitude for her lifelong dedication to the family.
In preparation for Anderson’s big day, Crane took her mother to get her hair done before heading to the 13th birthday party of Anderson’s great-grandson. As precursor of the following day’s event, Anderson was noticeably the matriarch of the Mottville-based family.
