The Hilltop Restaurant is your typical American diner. Short order cooks ring bells as food comes up, and the waitstaff, composed of high schoolers and seasoned veterans alike, are short but sweet when they take your order. Important to the town both for its food and social atmosphere, the food draws locals seven days a week. Throughout the day many of Skaneateles' longest residents come to the Hilltop for plate specials. A true gem of the town, its clientele includes senior citizens, families and teens, dates and solo diners, as well as just passersby.
